Underwater Memories is a transdisciplinary design project that questions conventional approaches on natural symbolism. Through the transformation of memories from experiences in aquatic environments, the project searches for a representation of living beings and natural spaces that surpasses the notion of ornament. The goal is to find a kind of artificiality that stimulates a sense of fascination in a similar way to that of being in the wilderness.

À partir d’une transformation des souvenirs et expériences immergées dans la nature aquatique, le projet cherche à représenter les organismes et espaces naturels d’une manière qui dépasse le décoratif et l’ornemental. L’objectif c’est trouver une artificialité capable de provoquer une fascination proche de celle que l’on peut avoir en milieu naturel.
